Old Town Alexandria Family Session | As I write this post, I am reminded of how much this year has changed me. Not only did I become a new mother, but my business had to adapt to a slew of rescheduled weddings as I helped my clients navigate through this difficult process. With everything going on in the world this year, I wanted to find ways to be creative and document joy through photography. Life moves on, and now more than ever I see how quickly it goes. People are still getting married, babies are still being born, milestones are still happening.
Once I emerged from the fog of the fourth trimester, I decided that I wanted to expand creatively and begin offering family photo sessions in addition to wedding and couples’ sessions. My fear of missing moments with Eloise, and perhaps over capturing every milestone and holiday to date, is a futile battle to make time stand still. We’re only eight months in and I’m seeing how fast she changes, sometimes even day to day. I want to freeze these moments in time not only for myself, but to give other families their own snapshots in time as well.
This Old Town Alexandria fall family session with the Millers was so much fun! Oronoco Bay Park is a beautiful setting perfect for a family or engagement session and is perfect during any season.
